Box Car Derby Extravaganza
On 23rd July was the Box Car Derby and it was an extravaganza. The Intermediate champions were nearly a tie but only a centimetre broke them off. But the school-wide champion was clear, The Soldiers, a senior team. Please watch the following video to see most of the derby and if the prediction that most of our class made was true:

Well done everyone - looks like you had a great day and nothing fell apart and no one was injured! A great result (even if the Seniors beat you in the end!) Nice to see Kea One taking out the Intermediate competition though - well done Smash 8!

The box-car derby footage is awesome! The music in the background was thanks to me, being the DJ and playing music while everyone was waiting for the next race to start. It was an awesome day and thanks Ms G for the well done for my team, we rocked!!!

Well actually Ms G Rewa Hard Racerz' box car did break apart into pieces and you may have noticed in one of the videos that Smash 8's box car tilted and Daniel fell out and scraped his leg. Also RHR recieved 'Best Crash' award and Daniel got 'Most Sportsmanship'.
